NYAS regular, Erland, started coming to NYAS painting classes in Summer 2024. He started on the Wednesday painting classes first and did lots of transposition work of still life-type subject matter. In January 2025, Erland swapped to the portrait and still life classes which means he now paints from life. This delicate still life was painted in his first ever still life session on the first day back in 2025.
